For Your Visit

At your initial visit to Australia Dental Burpengary, we will ask you to complete a comprehensive general health questionnaire. This is treated with the utmost confidentiality, and is used in planning your dental treatment. It is essential we know your full history and medications, as this can determine how treatment is performed.

The dentist will then take a detailed history of your dental complaint/wishes before conducting an examination. This will not only include examining your teeth but also your gums, facial tissues, jaw joints, and the soft tissues of your mouth. A thorough check is done for any possible signs for oral cancer.

The dentist will always be very gentle and will NOT be prodding any sensitive cavities. An Examination of the periodontal health (gums) will also be done. Once a full examination has been completed and the radiographs assessed, a discussion of treatment requirements/options will be presented to you together with the cost of treatment.

We make a point of being open and honest regarding treatment costs as we do not want you to have any unexpected surprises when it comes to paying your account.

All possible treatment options will be discussed with you and their costs. We actively encourage you to ask questions/raise any concerns you may have as regards your dental treatment.

We aim to work in partnership with you and are happy to proceed at a pace that suits you. That may be getting all the treatment completed in a week to take several months or even years. We always prioritise treatments doing the most urgent work first.
